Hello, I’m Paul, one of the founders. Like most people I enjoy keeping active and as a military veteran I've always been a full-on sports enthusiast. A couple of years ago on a skiing trip my friend tore his ACL so I spent the rest of the trip skiing solo while he rested up.
I started listening to music on the slopes- it really adds to the thrill, pace and sense of freedom – but also keeps you motivated, especially when you’re skiing alone However I found it frustrating trying to adjust the volume, skip a track or even accept an incoming call. I had to frequently stop, take off a glove, find my phone, press a button before replacing everything to carry on!
I had the same frustrations controlling music when running, cycling and training in the gym, there was also the issue of trying to control a sports camera on my motorcycle helmet when voice control just wouldn't work.
I love my gadgets and tech but couldn't find anything that would solve these basic but all too common problems. I took the plunge, left a full time corporate job and set out to find a co-founder with the technical know how to turn an idea into reality. I met Kumar and so ArcX was born.

Hi I’m Kumar, a founder at ArcX. I am an engineer, entrepreneur, and investor with over 20 years of experience in wearables, medical devices, and advanced embedded systems. I have built my career across Europe in hands-on engineering and technology leadership roles..
In 2019, I met Paul, who was searching for a technical co-founder. Together, we embarked on a new venture to challenge the status quo in wearable technology. Paul's background in team building, from his military service to his tenure at Safestix, has made him an invaluable ally in our quest to create wearable devices that enhance user concentration and productivity, minimising distractions from smartphones and other devices.
Today, I am working on cutting-edge products while also investing in and advising startups building the next generation of hardware innovation.

It is a wearable control interface that allows users to operate fitness equipment, smart glasses and connected devices via Bluetooth where touchscreens and voice commands fail.

Got a question or a suggestion?
Can I use my ArcX and a set of wireless earbuds with my phone?
ArcX was designed specifically for controlling music played from a phone with the user listening to wireless headphones or earbuds.
Most smartphones can connect with several Bluetooth devices simultaneously. Bluetooth devices must be discoverable before you can connect them to your smartphone or tablet.
The method for making a device discoverable varies depending on the device. Consult your device's manual for additional information on entering the discoverable mode.
What other devices can I use with ArcX?
We’ve tested ArcX on sports cameras, wireless speakers, TVs, tablets, laptops, desktops, home exercise equipment, e-Readers, home sound systems, drones, smart glasses, AR/VR headsets and industrial systems. Practically every modern electronic device has a Bluetooth connection, ArcX will work with all of them.
What size ArcX should I order?
There is no need to worry about sizing. We will ship five different sized outer rings in each box.
The rings have the following internal diameters:
- 16mm (0.62)
- 18mm (0.70 in)
- 20mm (0.78 in)
- 22mm (0.86 in)
- 24mm (0.94 in)
Find the right size for you and insert the tech module. It’s that easy. Each ring will stretch up to 20% so if worn on a naked finger the same ring can be stretched to wear on a gloved finger if required.
Does ArcX come with a warranty?
ArcX comes with a one year warranty. Our manufacturing partner is one of the leading global electronics manufacturers and each ArcX is comprehensively tested before leaving the factory. In the unlikely event that your ArcX stops working, we will replace it.
What if I’m not happy with my ArcX?
We’re sure you’ll love your ArcX but if for any reason you're unhappy with our product or you just change your mind simply return your unit within 30 days, undamaged with the original packaging and we’ll refund you, no questions asked.
